In this paper, we consider a dynamic model of a rotary-pendulum impact
mechanism consisting of a rotating rotor and two pendulums con-taining rod
elements, at the end of which there are strikers. The analysis of the influence
of such parameters as: the ratio of link lengths, the moment of inertia of the
striker and the angle of rotation of the pendulum relative to the rotor on the
attenuation of small oscillations of the rotary-pendulum impact mechanism for
one rotation of the rotor is carried out. The analytical dependences of the change
in the damping coefficient of the oscillations of the rotary pendulum relative
to the rotor, with different ratios of the lengths of the links and the moments of
inertia of the striker for its various forms, are compiled. The established values
of the damping coefficient of the pendulum oscillations, depending on the change
in the values of various parameters, allow us to further choose the way to solve
the equation of the dynamic model and for the design of rotary-pendulum shock
mechanisms.
