DEVELOPMENT OF CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR DRILLING MACHINES WITH VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVES

This work is devoted to the development of control systems for feeding and rotation mechanisms of drilling tools for electric drilling machines. In particular, two electrical circuits with frequency converters are presented – one-phase and three-phase for controlling asynchronous electric machines of different power. The description of their device and the principle of operation is given, in comparison with the known standard control schemes of drilling machines. Specific examples provide recommendations for the rational use of control schemes for various types of drilling equipment. A brief description of the principle of operation of automatic control of the operating modes of the drilling machine, with a frequency-controlled electric drive. The paper also describes the means of protection provided in electrical circuits in case of exceeding the specified loads. Photos with a general view of the control panel and its electrical diagram are given.
