Abstract

: The article deals with the issue of calculating the marker length for the developed seeder for sowing melons and gourds. To carry out the calculation of the marker, a graphical diagram of the movement of the unit on the field was initially drawn up, in which the dimensions of agricultural machinery, tractors and row spacing are indicated. According to the drawn up scheme, a formula was derived and the length of the seeder marker was calculated. The calculations were carried out for the case when the marker is in conditionally horizontal and in working positions, and their numerical values are determined. Additionally, calculations were made of the length of the right marker in the case of a machine operator driving along the track of the marker only with the right wheel of the tractor. Due to the large length, it is necessary to provide the marker with a support cable. In this regard, additional calculations were carried out and the dimensions of the marker support cable were determined.
