PROSPECTS OF APPLICATION OF SYNCHRONOUS MOTORS WITH PERMANENT MAGNETS FOR FREQUENCY-CONTROLLED ELECTRIC DRIVE OF DRILLING EQUIPMENT

The transition from an unregulated electric drive to a regulated one is not only one of the main ways of energy saving in production and in everyday life, but also is the main factor in improving the quality of management and safety of its operation. It should be noted that despite the appearance of a wide range of asynchronous electric motors with a frequency-controlled control unit, they do not provide sufficient rigidity of the mechanical characteristics in a wide range of regulation, and this reduces the reliability of damping elastic mechanical vibrations in a mechanical system, in particular a drilling string. In this paper, the possibility of using synchronous machines with permanent magnets as drives of a drilling machine with a double column of pipes is considered written.
