September 17, 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, remarkable engineer and talented leader Oleg Dmitrievich Alimov, founder of the Frunze Scientific School of Mechanical Engineers. He invested a lot in the concept of "engineer" and considered himself primarily a creative engineer. Besides, O. D. Alimov was an excellent organizer, teacher and educator of young scientific personnel, creator of new and promising trends in science and technology.
