INDUSTRY OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC FOR THE MINING AND PRODUCTION OF BUILDING PRODUCTS FROM NATURAL STONE, FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT AT THE PRESENT STAGE

The article provides basic information on the state of the world industry of mining and production of building products from natural stone, indicators of the world market of stone at this stage (2020-23). The data on the leading producing countries, on the volume of world exports and imports, average world prices for stone products are given. The volumes of stone production in Russia, as the leading CIS country, are given. The formation of stone mining and stone processing industry in the Kyrgyz Republic, mineral resources, main enterprises of the industry, types of products, production and export volumes are described in more detail. The scientific support of this industry in Kyrgyzstan, the work of scientific teams to develop, create and implement machines and technologies for mining and processing of stone is described. Prospects for further development of the stone industry of Kyrgyzstan at the present stage are shown.
