Abstract

The article presents some results of tests and experimental studies of a hydraulic hammer developed at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of these tests and experimental studies was to establish the performance of the developed hammer drill and determine its main parameters. The main parameters characterizing the capabilities of a hydraulic hammer drill are impact energy, impact frequency, angular velocity of the drill rod and developed torque.At this stage of experimental research, the impact frequency and angular velocity of the drill rod are determined from the listed parameters. Based on the results of the experiments, data were obtained on the basis of which conclusions were drawn about the performance of the developed hammer drill and some reserves for improving its design were identified.
