The work is devoted to the selection and justification of the most appropriate technology for drilling high-precision horizontal wells up to 200 meters deep. Various technologies and equipment used in performing this type of work are considered. In particular, the use of a double column of pipes with reverse circulation of the cleaning agent and hydraulic transport of core, which is accepted as a prototype of future drilling equipment, is considered. A fundamentally new design of a two-column projectile has been proposed and developed, where the inner column is the drilling pipe, and the slowly rotating outer pipe, unloaded from the axial load on the bit, is protective and centering. A drilling complex was developed and created, which passed field and industrial tests. Based on the test results obtained and the subsequent operation of the machine in mine conditions, it was revealed that there is practically no deviation of the projectile from the given direction, and energy consumption for drilling is minimal.
